Remove any photos of yourself or comments that you’ve posted on-line that you would not proudly share with your mother (or your boss, your future employer, your voters or the judge for that matter).
Watch your on-line conduct and on-line conversations. Never engage in chat rooms or web sites of questionable or illegal material. Never misrepresent yourself (e.g., your age, your experience, your image, etc.)
Social media serves more than just your social goals. It has a business impact on you as well. Your on-line activity should always be honest and truthful and reflect well on you professionally.
Goal for this week:
Clean up your on-line act and delete any and all photos or comments that may reflect poorly on you in the future. Post an updated, professional-looking photograph to your profile on your core social media sites.
