Yet meetings are deeply ingrained in company cultures. It’s just the way we do things, and no one questions it, even when the cost to the business is outrageous. Meetings can be a huge drain on human energy, morale, productivity, work satisfaction, employee engagement. Too many meetings create mind-numbing, body draining effects on employees. And you expect them to stay engaged under these conditions?
Perhaps it’s time to create a new paradigm for business meeting, or at least shake it up a bit more with some of the ideas in this article:
